Photography presets are pre-configured settings that can be applied to images to enhance their appearance and achieve a specific style or mood. They are essentially a set of adjustments, including colour corrections, exposure settings, contrast, and more, that can be saved and reused on multiple photos to create a consistent look across your portfolio.

Classic, Editorial, Nostalgic, Enhanced, with an edge. The RF Co. Presets collection contains a total of 6 colour presets + 2 B&W presets. I don’t want you to feel boxed into using the presets for their names, they’re just their as a guide — but if you want to slap the flash preset on an outdoor photo…let’s go girls. I definitely use RF Co. Base for 90%. And of course I love me some B&W.
My presets have a lower contrast and a hint of deep green in the shadows. My goal is to always have my photos feeling creamy and dreamy.

As much as we'd love to sprinkle some magical talent dust into presets, they can't instantly transform you into a legendary photographer. Presets are tools that help you enhance your images, but the creative vision and skills are still up to you.
Presets are meant to enhance your work; your best bet is going to be to nail it in camera. Composition, exposure, knowing your lighting — that all matters. No preset can fix a shitty image and trust me, I’ve taken many a shitty photo.
Secondly, presets are not meant to be one-click fixes. I normally always have to play with my white balance, exposure, contract and tint at the bare minimum. You’re likely always going to have to play around in the basics panel but if you have to do tons of work beyond that then the presets you’re using probably aren’t working for you!

Short Answer: Yes. Long Answer: I highly recommend using these presets on RAW images for higher quality results. If you do use these presets on a JPEG, I would suggest lowering the intensity of the preset.
